Credentials are required so that CIs can be added to Application Services without any intervention of a human user. Credentials need to be configured only once. Then, the scheduled job will be able to run using those credentials to add the CIs to Application Services. For instructions on how to create credentials, refer to the chapter “Chapter 5.
