With DTL, you define Connect ETL and Connect for Big Data jobs using job definition commands that specify the requirements of the job. These job definition commands are saved to a job definition file.
You execute these jobs at the command line by invoking Connect ETL with the dmxjob command followed by the /run argument.
DTL jobs are executed by running the same dmxjob command that runs jobs that are developed in and executed through the IDE. For information on dmxjob, see Invoking Connect ETL or Connect for Big Data and Running the Job Definition File.
