The Assure UI portal requires network access to at least one node in each product instance. When network access is available, you configure portal connections in portal to those nodes to establish communication. The portal requires credentials for the portal connections to access nodes with which the portal communicates.
An instance for an installed product is also configured in the Assure UI portal and uses the portal connection to retrieve data and perform actions.
