Load the SAVF - assure_quick_edd - 25.01

• Create a SAVF on the IBM i

  CRTSAVF FILE(QGPL/PMEDHTOOLS) TEXT(‘QUICK-EDD/HA – Tools’)

• From your PC, use FTP to transfer the downloaded PC file (EDHTOOL_EN.savf, EDHTOOL_IT.savf, EDHTOOL_SP.savf) to the SAVF previously created on the IBM i, QGPL/PMEDHTOOLS.

If you are unfamiliar with FTP, follow these instructions to transfer the file:

1. Open a Windows command prompt window (cmd.exe) and enter the following commands:

   ftp aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd

   (aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd being the IP address or the DNS name of your IBM Power i)

2. Enter your login and your password (use a *SECOFR user profile to have the necessary authorities).
3. Enter the following commands:

   binary

   ENGLISH

   put <path of the file on the PC>\EDHTOOL_EN.savf QGPL/PMEDHTOOLS

   FRENCH

   put <path of the file on the PC>\EDHTOOL_FR.savf QGPL/PMEDHTOOLS

   quit

   You should see a completion message stating that the file transfer completed successfully.
