Note: If you already have an authorized profile defined in SST, it can be used for PMSYSTAG command – Go directly to step “Run command PMSYSTAG.
  1. Signon with QSECOFR profile.
  2. Run command STRSST, and enter an authorized profile.
  3. Select option 8 “Work with service tools user IDs and Devices”.
  4. Use option 1 to access the SST user IDs.
  5. Use option 1 to create a new user
  6. Enter the name and password of the user ID to create (PMSOFT/PMSOFTPWD are given as a sample).
    Note: Enter a password in UPPERCASE and choose a password different from the name of the profile.
  7. Add a description, and set the password “not to expire”.
