Environment monitoring allows you to start EDHEXAM tools which will retrieve the environment status using EDH_STATUS command on a regular basis.
A job EDH_EXAMXX will start in the sub-system QSYSWRK.
You can access this function by right-clicking on an active environment and select Monitor environment (EDHEXAM).
