Note the synchronization counters, present in the line XX_snd:
Wait Ac nok
Synchro ___ ___ ___
Those values sum all the replicated objects inside the environment.
If all those values are equal to « ---- », you can skip this part and go to Journals control.
In the counters are different from « ---- », in front of each replicated domain (Libraries, System objects, IFS directories, Spools), you’ll have to apply the following sequence on the SOURCE system to control the replication:
Note: in addition to the following procedure, please consult EDD_HA_Troubleshooting_EN.pps
Enter + in front of the appropriate line to display the whole list of replicated objects.
EDH AG_SND ---s Work Environment QSLFRA2 3/05/10 15:55:16

Enter F8 to Select. After « Synchro : », enter 1 instead of the * :
EDH AG_SND ---s Select Library

Hold : * Present : * (0=No 1=Yes or *) Synchro : 1 Wait: * Run: * End: * Err: * Wait rep: * > 0 Differed: * > 0 Journal : * |
The screen below is displayed.
It lists the objects waiting for synchronization or in error.
Enter M in front of each line to display the wait/error cause:
EDH AG_SND ---s Work Libraries QSLFRA2 3/05/10 1 Library 15:58:55

In front of the last message, option « W » allows to access to the appropriate synchronization job:
EDH AG_SND ---s 296 Stored messages 3/05/10 15:59:50 QSLFRA2 Started on 2010/05/03 15:40:01,60 Top 2010/05/03 15:40:01,60 Selection: Severity * 4=Delete 5=Display Message ******* Job *** Date mmdd-time Job Message _ 0503-152444 S01 Synchro EDHDEMO/ INTXXXXXXX (*FILE) ... W 0503-152444 S01 Synchro EDHDEMO/ INTXXXXXXX. INTXXXXXXX... |
Then you can use option 10 to check the JOBLOG.
If the messages inside the JOBLOG are not clear enough, you’ll have to check the JOBLOG on the target system.
In the example above, it’s the job EDH_AG_S01 which has an issue.
Therefore, you’ll have to check EDH_AG_R01 JOBLOG on the backup system to know the exact reason of the error.
When the issue is solved, if necessary, you can ask for synchronization with option « C » in front of the object:
EDH AG_SND ---s Work Libraries QSLFRA2 3/05/10 1 Library 15:58:55
1=Insert 2=Modify 4=Delete 5=Display 8=Explore 9=Activity M=Messages J=Journal S=Start E=End ?=Others

Synchronization is done when the object disappears from the list « Synchro : 1 »
