Messages of Assure QuickEDD HA - assure_quick_edd

Enter option “M” in front of any line of the environment. Messages since the last start of Assure QuickEDD HA are displayed. Look for the severe errors by entering « 1 » in the area « Gravity ». Severe errors are displayed in yellow.

There are 2 possible situations:

1. The error has already been corrected by Assure QuickEDD HA, no further action is necessary.

Example:

If you do 5 in front of that line, the detail of the message is displayed:

It shows that one update couldn’t be applied on the target system.

If you take a look at the messages at the object level:

• F12 to go back to the main screen of the environment

• + in front of the line Libraries

• F8 to look for the object

• M in front of the object

0503-154021 S01 Synchro EDHDEMO_FR/EDHSRC01 (*FILE) is done

You can see that, right after the error occurred, Assure QuickEDD HA automatically triggered a synchronization.

2. The error can’t be corrected automatically.

In that case, you’ll have to check the JOBLOGs of the replication jobs on the source and on the target, to determine how to correct the error.

On the source system, you’ll enter “W” in front of the message in order to check the JOBLOG of EDH_AG_S02.

On the target machine, do a WRKACTJOB SBS(PMEDH) and enter 5 in front of the job EDH_AG_R02.
