When you start an unplanned switch from the production system to the backup system, MIMIX does the following:

  • Ends the user backup environment on the local system.

  • Switches the selected data groups.

  • Starts the user production environment on the local system.

The following table shows the process flow that occurs when the RUNSWTFWK PRC(*BCKUP) TYPE(*UNPLANNED) command is invoked:
