Generate a Heap Dump - assure_dq - Latest

Use this screen to generate a heap dump for a specified node.

You can view heap dumps that were previously generated, either manually or automatically as the result of an out-of-memory condition. The system displays the heap dump for all nodes. You can copy a selected heap dump to the server or download a heap dump to your PC.

1. Complete the following field, as applicable:

   • Select a node: Select the node for which you want to generate a heap dump.
     Tip: You can generate a heap dump for only one node at a time.

2. Click Generate Heap Dump to generate a heap dump for the selected node.

To collect the heap dumps from the servers in the cluster and move them to the diagnostic directory, click Collect Heap Dump.

To copy the heap dump file to a specific location on the server, select the desired heap dump and click Copy Heap Dump.

To download the heap dump file to your PC, select the desired heap dump and click Download.

Select Delete to delete the generated heap dump files.
