Assure DQ uses 'Caching’ to improve performance.
The artifacts that are typically cached in Assure DQ are Control Entity Rules, Control Point rules, Calendars, Security Profiles, Principals, License information, and Event Routing Information. Sometimes, the cache data is out of date with the data in the Assure DQ database.
This causes erratic behavior of the system, which can be resolved by clearing specific caches.
The Clear Cache utility allows you to clear caches in an entire cluster or a single instance. Select the checkbox specific to the cache you want to clear, and click Clear Caches Now. The system displays the number of caches that were cleared at the end of a cache clear.
