To run Ironstream, modify the z/OS datasets as follows:

  1. Authorize the hlq.LOAD dataset.
  2. Set the performance group or add an entry to Workload Manager.
  3. Add an entry to the Program Properties Table.
  4. Add an entry to the RACF class.
  5. Add PPOLOG to VTAM startup options.
  6. Add an application major node to VTAM.
Inform the mainframe system programmer about the changes required to the SYS1.PARMLIB members.
