Installing Product Updates - VeriMove - 4.0

To install a VeriMove product update, refer to the readme file that accompanies the product update. The readme file contains pertinent information related to the product update and includes a description of the required steps for installing the product update on your system.

• For Windows, Unix, and Linux platforms the conversion from an old format Jobstats file to the new format will happen automatically when executing mu or mureports. A backup file named JobStats.dat.JSF5.bak will be created with the old format and a new format JobStats.dat will be created in its place. This is equivalent to running the statconv program. This is a one-time conversion.
• For Mainframe, the STATCONV JCLmust be run to convert the old JOBSTAT file prior to running MU or MUREPORT. It cannot be automatically done sing the LRECL of the file has changed. This is a one-time conversion that is needed.
