If TestFileSha.exe runs successfully you can view the results by following these steps. If TestFileSha.exe does not finish successfully, a return code of -1 will be returned to the Environment Variable %ERRORLEVEL%.

  1. After the utility finishes running, open the file TestFileSha.log.
Note: If you do not have write privileges to the directory where you ran TestFileSha.exe, the log will not be created.
  2. Each file that the utility checks is listed in the log. For example:

    Mon Mar 10 13:11:23 2017 Reading clk.a.hs1...Hashing...OK <6b6a916a7e2a3af4fa570e3c4ccf66753bb3e37f>
Mon Mar 10 13:12:45 2017 Skipping compressed file clk.a.hs1.szp.

"OK" indicates that the file was successfully decompressed. If a file was not successfully decompressed, the entry for the file will say "Failed on <filename>" instead of "OK".

  3. Using the text editor Find feature, search the file for the phrase "failed on". If this phrase appears in the file, the file indicated was not successfully decompressed. If a file was not successfully decompressed, contact Technical Support for assistance. Do not attempt to run VeriMove jobs until all NCOALink files have been successfully decompressed.
