Many files open and close during processing by VeriMove. Over time the files get fragmented over large areas of the hard drive. Also, VeriMove should be a dedicated system. Other running applications could affect the throughput. To correct this problem, follow the steps described next.
- Optimize your hard drive.
- If you have partitioned drives, ensure that you are not splitting the Virtual Memory between the partitioned drives.
- Close other running applications.
- Make sure you do not have a screen saver running.
- Check if your input file is sorted in ZIP Code order. Files will generally run faster if sorted in ZIP Code order.
