The following is a list of errors that can appear on the Errors tab.

Event ID Description and Corrective Action
1001 Missing or invalid platform ID

Complete/correct the platform ID.

1002 Missing or invalid licensee

Complete/correct licensee information.

1004 Record length must be greater than zero

Change the record length to a number greater than zero.

1005 File does not end on a reasonable record boundary

The input definition record length does not match the data in the file. Verify that all records are the same length.

1006 Per USPS Licensee requirements, a mailing list must consist of no fewer than 100 unique names and associated addresses

Make sure you are processing at least 100 records. If you do have 100 or more records, the input definition record length may be too large.

1008 Record Options – Start at record value is either less than zero or greater than the number of records in the file.

Change the Start at Record field to a number greater than zero, or make sure the number is not greater than the number of records in the file.

1009 Error reading input file _____.

Verify that the input file specified exists at the indicated location and that you have sufficient rights to this file.

1010 Error extracting Input Definition fields from input record: _____.

Verify that the input definition is correct.

1011 Missing Customer ID or Customer ID length does not equal 5.

Complete/correct the customer ID.

1013 Error updating statistics database. Job statistics may not have been saved.

Verify that the database is not currently open in another application. Verify that there is hard drive space available. Check integrity of the database. You may need to install the latest MDAC.

1014 Error creating statistics file.

Verify that the path to the file is valid and that you have sufficient rights to this directory. Verify that there is hard drive space available.

1019 Error creating Detail messages from PBInput structures. An internal error has occurred.

Verify that the input definition is correct. Verify that the input data is not corrupted.

1022 Error writing output file.

Verify that the path to the file is valid and that you have sufficient rights to this directory. Verify that there is hard drive space available.

1023 Error creating output file.

Verify that the path to the file is valid and that you have sufficient rights to this directory. Verify that there is hard drive space available.

1024 Error opening input file. The file may not exist or you have insufficient rights to the file.

Check the file name and/or your rights to the file.

1025 Error creating output file 2.

Verify that the path to the file is valid and that you have sufficient rights to this directory. Verify that there is hard drive space available.

1026 Error creating sample file.

Verify that the path to the file is valid and that you have sufficient rights to this directory. Verify that there is hard drive space available.

1027 Error querying Customer ID from database.

Verify that the Customer ID is valid. Check the integrity of the database.

1028 Error querying job ID from database.

Verify that the job is valid. Check the integrity of the database.

1029 Error inserting statistics info into database. Error message is: _____.

Verify that there is hard drive space available. Check the integrity of the database.

1030 Internal CASS Engine Error: Return code = _____.

Problem occurred in the internal CASS process. Verify that the ZIP + 4 and city files have not expired. Repeat the job. If the problem occurs again, contact Technical Support.

1031 Error Loading Internal CASS Module.

Verify the Pclnt.dll file exists in the VeriMove installation directory. Reinstall VeriMove (and thus this file) if file is missing or appears to be corrupted.

1032 Error opening pattern dictionary file(s). The files may not exist in the path specified in the registry.

Verify that the path to the file is valid, that the file exists, and that you have sufficient rights to this directory.

1033 A job was currently running elsewhere in the system. Only one job is allowed to run at a time.

Wait for the other job to complete, or stop the other job.

1035 Error processing record through Name/Address Scanning: _____.

Problem occurred in the internal Name/Address Scanning process. Repeat the job. If the problem occurs again, contact Technical Support.

1036 Error processing record through Internal CASS.

Problem occurred in the internal CASS process. Repeat the job. If the problem occurs again, contact Technical Support.

1037 Unexpected Error in Internal CASS Engine.

Input definition record length may be too large. If the input record is in ASCII format and uses CRLF, check that this is specified in the Job Properties dialog box (Character Set group on the General tab).

1038 Internal Error converting from EBCDIC to ASCII character set.

Problem occurred in the conversion from EBCDIC to ASCII process. Repeat the job. If the problem occurs again, contact Technical Support.
