If you defined the job using the IBM i screens, follow the process for executing jobs described in the VeriMove User's Guide for IBM i. If you defined the job using the Windows GUI, follow these steps to run the job on IBM i.
- Export your job from the Windows GUI. For instructions, see Exporting a Job.
- Transfer the job definition to your IBM i system. Transfer the file as ASCII. The job definition may be placed in a source physical file or on the IFS.
- On your IBM i system, enter the job definition in the appropriate field on the NLRUNJOB or NLSBMJOB command. You must have already defined the job using the IBM i screens so that VeriMove knows where to find your input file and database, and where to place your output file. - Generate the required monthly reports on the IBM i platform for emailing to the USPS. For instructions on generating reports, see the VeriMove User's Guide for IBM i.
