If you are using a CASS product other than Finalist® or CODE-1 Plus™, you must determine the necessary steps to ensure that the output from the CASS product includes a 250-position field in each record. The Detail Results Indicator field must contain the subfields described in the table below. If the CASS product cannot produce the following data, it cannot be used for external CASS processing with VeriMove.

Note: USPS regulations require LACSLink, SuiteLink, and Delivery Point Validation (DPV) processing (including DPV No Stat and DPV Vacant Table processing) in order to generate the USPS Form 3553 (CASS Summary Report).

  1. Open your job definition in VeriMove.
  2. Go to the Input Definition tab.
  3. Click Add
  4. Select CASS - Detail Result Indicators.
  5. Specify the position where the field starts.
