By default, all processes that are capable of running in real time are enabled, but you can customize your project by disabling processes. When a process is disabled, a node will be created for the process in the cleanser and matcher configuration files, but the ENABLED switch will be set to ‘n’ and the cleanser or matcher server will not perform that process on your data. This differs from excluding a process in that a node is not created for excluded processes.
Note: If a process is part of multiple country flows, disabling/enabling the process will
change its state for all country flows.
There are four ways to disable a process:
- Right-click on the process in the tree view and select Disable.
- Right-click on the process in the tree view, select Edit Options, and deselect Enabled.
- Right-click a filter node and select Disable this subflow to disable all processes in the subflow.
- Use the Mark up box to disable multiple processes.
