Trillium Quality for Dynamics uses name, street, city, state, postal code, and country fields to cleanse and match data. For the most accurate data cleansing and duplicate detection, these fields should be on each form that will be used to enter data. The default contact, account, lead, and customer address forms include these fields and do not need to be modified.

If you are using a form that does not include the name, street, city, state, postal code, and country fields, you should add them. The country field should be a required field.

To view the list of database fields used by Trillium Quality for Dynamics, open the Edit Configuration window and note the input and output mapping field names defined in each entity for name, street, city, state, postal code, and country.

Note: The settings in the Edit Configuration window are associated with those found in the web resource XML file. For more information, see Configuring the Web Resource XML File.

To add name and address fields to forms

  1. Follow the steps on Adding the Duplicates Window to Forms to open the form to be modified.

  2. From the Field Explorer, select the desired fields and drag them onto the form. Select the fields that correspond to the fields mapped in Trillium Quality for Dynamics’ web resource XML file through the Edit Configuration window.

  3. Optionally, change the labels on the fields, then click OK.

  4. Click Save, click Publish, and close the form.

  5. Repeat for each form you will use to enter contact, account, lead, customer address, and custom entities.

  6. When all customizations have been completed, click Publish All Customizations.
