The User Key, Match Level, and Name Form settings in the web resource file determine certain aspects of how matches are performed.
-
The User Key is set in the Server node and is used during a master batch process. It is assigned by Trillium and is set to 1 by default. Do not modify the User Key.
-
The Match Level is set in the Server node and is used during all match requests. It is set to 2 by default. For Accounts, Match Level 2 indicates a company match. For Contacts and Leads, Match Level 2 indicates an individual match. Do not modify the Match Level.
-
The Name Form is set in each Entity node and is used during match requests for that entity. For Accounts, Name Form is set to 2, which causes matches to be based on the business name. For Contacts and Leads, Name Form is set to 1, which causes matches to be based on personal name fields.
As a general rule, these settings should not be changed. However, developers who are very familiar with Trillium’s match rules may modify one or both of these settings for very specific customizations. Use extreme caution when changing these settings.
