By default, Trillium Quality for Dynamics processes contact, account, lead, and customer address entities. If you would like to cleanse and match additional entities, you can import the custom entity template to use as a base to build out and configure custom entities to suit your business needs.

You can import the template multiple times, rename it, and customize it as needed. For more information about using and configuring custom entities, see Configuring Custom Entities.

To import and configure a custom entity

  1. Add the Trillium fields to the custom entity, as described in Adding Trillium Fields to the Custom Entity.

  2. On the machine from which you deployed Trillium Quality for Dynamics, launch the Deployment Manager from the Start menu (Trillium Software > Trillium Quality for Dynamics n.n.n. Right-click Deployment Manager and select Run as administrator). The Deployment Manager window opens.

  3. Click the Utilities tab. Click Save to save your settings if prompted.

  4. Click Edit Configuration. The Edit Configuration window opens.

  5. Click the Entities tab.

  6. Click Import Custom Entity Template. A confirmation message opens. Click OK to close the message and import the template.

  7. Click the Entity drop-down list and select the entity named loc_location. This is the template’s default name.

  8. Click the General tab for the loc_location entity, in the Entity Name field enter the name of the custom entity you selected in Step 1. For example, tss_batch_job. Click Apply Changes to General. The custom entity name is updated in the Entity drop-down list.

  9. On the Cleanse and Match tabs, map the name and address fields in your custom entity to Trillium fields. Click the Apply Changes button for each tab when you are finished updating settings.

  10. On the Window Keys and Duplicate Popups tabs, modify the fields as needed. Click the Apply Changes button for each tab when you are finished updating settings.

  11. Click the Match Display tab and do the following:

    1. In the Crm Field Name column enter the following three names, each on a separate row: tss_name, tss_filter1, tss_filter2, tss_filter3, and tss_filter4.

    2. For each Crm Field Name add an associated lookup name in the Lookup Name column.

    3. Click Apply Changes to Match Display.

  12. (Optional) Click the Lookup Fields tab and enter information as described in Lookup Fields.

  13. Repeat this procedure for each custom entity you want to add.

  14. When you are finished importing and configuring custom entities, click Save to Server and Publish All.

  15. Modify the assembly and forms for custom entities as described in Configuring Custom Entities.
