Clicking View TSI Web Log in TSI Web Server Administration displays the TSI log, illustrated in the figure given below.

Viewing a Log File

TSI logs requests processed by the TSI layer of TS Web Services. The log is maintained for one day. It is then archived and a new log is created.

To improve performance, you can limit the size of the log file to be displayed, as described in Max Megabytes Log File Display. The most recent entries in the log file are displayed, up to the specified maximum size. The default size is one megabyte, which contains approximately 5000 lines. The maximum size to be displayed is 30 megabytes.

Administrators can view all web logs in the %TOMCAT%\logs directory. Logs should be cleared or archived periodically, depending on usage. If the site is used in a high volume mode, increasing the TSI log level from INFO to ERROR is recommended. You can make this change on the Administration Home page, as described in TSI Web Server Logging Level, or in the file %TOMCAT%\webapps\TrilliumSOAP\WEB-INF\classes\log4j.properties.
