By default, Trillium Quality for Dynamics processes contact, account, lead and customer address entities. If you would like to cleanse and match custom entities, you must perform the following configuration steps described in this chapter:

  • Run the Deployment Manager to add Trillium fields to the custom entity.

  • Modify the Trillium for Dynamics web resource XML file to map entity fields to Trillium fields and to add the MatchDisplay node.

  • Modify the Trillium Quality for Dynamics assembly to add Create, Update, and Delete steps for custom entities.

  • Modify custom entity forms to add the Duplicates window and to ensure that name and address fields are included on the form.

Note: Matching rules require a name field. For custom entities that do not have a name field, you must add a name field to the entity. You can then create a business rule for that entity to set the field to a constant value (for example, ‘Trillium’).
