The CRA sample files are:

  • Cleanser_Batch_Input.ini - Batch cleansing sample file. Points to a small sample batch file (Cleanser_Input_Batch_Pipe_Delimited.dat) for batch processing.
  • Cleanser_Form_Input.ini - Free-form cleansing sample initialization file.
  • Cleanser_Input_Batch_Pipe_Delimited.dat - A small sample data file for batch processing.
  • Cleanser_Output_Batch_Pipe_Delimited.dat - Sample output produced by cleansing the director_input.dat file.
  • Cleanser_Output_Batch_Pipe_Delimited.dat_report.txt - Sample output produced by the batch input file, formatted as a report

To use the sample cleanser ini files

  1. Using the Director System Manager, start the Director and cleanser that were automatically created during your Director installation.
  2. Right-click on the cleanser and select Launch Project Rule Analyzer.
  3. Click the Load icon or select File>Load Cleansing Ini File.
  4. Browse to:\Program Files\Common Files\Trillium Software\17\pra_templatesand select Cleanser_Batch_Input.ini or Cleanser_Form_Input.ini to load the chosen ini file.
  5. Click No when prompted to save your current screen.
  6. If using the Cleanser_Batch_Input.ini file, click Cleanse to cleanse the batch data. If using the Cleanser_Form_Input.ini file, click Cleanse Text to cleanse the free-form text.
  7. Click Yes to overwrite the existing output file.
  8. If desired, modify the input data and click Cleanse Text to continue experimenting with testing data cleansing rules.
