You can create a log file of test cases to be used with the CRA. The file can then be used as an input batch file.

Note: You can also create initialization files to assist with recreating cleansing tests, as described in Using Initialization Files.

To create a log file

  1. In the CRA, select Tools > Enable Logging. A message displays indicating that the log files will not be written until you disable logging.

  2. Enter or browse to select input and output data logs and click Ok.

  3. Perform your data cleansing analysis, clicking Add test case to log when desired.

  4. To stop logging and write the input and output log files, toggle Tools > Enable Logging to disable logging.

To use a log file

  1. Under Cleanse Batch Data, enter the name of your created log file as the input batch file.

  2. Enter the name of a new output file to prevent overwriting your existing output file.
