If the schema of your input file does not match the fields expected by the MRA, you must create a map file to correlate the input data with the MRA.

To map fields

  1. In the Input Data Selection pane, select With Map and click the Map Fields icon.

  2. In the Map Fields window, shown in the figure below, you can either:

    • Browse to open an existing map file.

    • Use the window to create a map file by clicking in the Input Fields column and selecting a field to map to the Matcher fields, as illustrated in the figure below. You do not need to map every field.

  3. Optionally, click the Save or Save As icons to save the map file.

  4. Click OK. When you perform a match, both field names will be identified in the header row of the Match Results pane.
