A match candidate group is a set of records in your reference data that have something in common. For example, a match candidate group might consist of only records containing the same postal code or city.
Window keys allow you to filter the records in your reference data, creating a subset of records against which your input data will be compared. You establish your project’s window keys and window key rules in the Control Center. Refer to the Control Center’s online help for a detailed description of the creation and use of window keys in a TS Quality project.
Since most reference files used with the MRA have a limited number of records, by default window keys are not used. If you would like to use window keys, you can use a key created as a result of running your project, as described in Using an Existing Window Key, or you can create a window filter, as described in Defining a Window Key Filter.
