The Director System Manager employs security for Windows to Linux and Linux to Linux with SSH Secure Shell. For Windows to Windows security, the Director System Manager defaults to the security model of Microsoft which is configured by your system administrators.

Default public and private keys are included in the installation and are placed in the following directories:

  • Windows Server

    C:\Program Files\Trillium Software\EDQ\17\tsq\default_keys

  • Client

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trillium Software\17\default_keys

They do not contain a passphrase and do not require you to create one. You can use these keys for testing.

Note: The sample keys are for testing only. Precisely Trillium highly recommends that you generate your own keys and passphrases to ensure system security.

When security errors occur, the Director System Manager displays an error message. Error messages are described in Table 1.
