You can view and modify properties of Director, cleanser, and matcher servers. To view properties, on the Realtime View tab right-click the server and select Properties. The Director Properties or Server Properties window opens.

The settings you can change on the Settings tab depend on the type of server you are viewing:

  • For Directors, you can change the trace file, the log file (for Linux systems), and the load balancing algorithm (Current Load or Round Robin).

  • For cleanser and matcher servers, you can change the server’s trace file, configuration file, process level, and listen port. To change a trace or configuration file, click the Browse icon and either browse to an existing file or click the New File icon to create a new file.

Note: Whenever a server’s properties are modified, the server must be stopped and restarted to activate the changes. Allow approximately 30 seconds for the server to stop before restarting.

Clicking Advanced displays the Investigate window, as described in the following section.
