To deploy a Trillium Quality project to the host systems on which the project will run, use the Project Deployment Manager. The Project Deployment Manager creates a Trillium Quality real-time project by generating several configuration files that are specific to real-time projects, and packaging them with all project files (schema files, settings files, and so on) to create a project structure that can be used in real time.
There are two ways to launch the Project Deployment Manager:
-
On the Deploy bar of the Control Center, right-click the name of a published project and select Deploy to Real Time.
or,
-
In the Director System Manager, select File > Launch RealTime Project Loader to create a real-time project from a project previously created in the Control Center. Refer to Deploying from the Director System Manager for information on this option.
Note: .NET Framework v4.5.2 is required for deploying to real time. If it is not installed, an error message will display. This message, generated by the Microsoft Windows system, contains a broken link and cannot be used to access the .NET Framework v4.5.2 download page. Close the Control Center and install .NET Framework v4.5.2.
The Project Deployment Manager, shown in the figure below, opens. You use the Project Deployment Manager to perform three tasks:
-
Set up connections to machines that will host the project.
-
Edit and generate the configuration files for the project.
-
Deploy the project to selected hosts.
