Before you can delete fields from entities, you must remove all dependencies on Trillium fields. Locating dependencies can be difficult, especially if the field was used as part of a search criteria or other somewhat obscure uses.
If you are unable to remove fields after following the two suggestions in the Note, a third utility available in the Deployment Manager can assist you in locating field dependencies.
To locate a dependency
In the CRM Dependency message, note the Graphical User Interface Definition (GUID) displayed for the item that has a dependency.
On the machine on which you installed Trillium Quality for Dynamics, launch the Deployment Manager from the Start menu (Trillium Software > Trillium Quality for Dynamics n.n.n. Right-click Deployment Manager and select Run as administrator). The Deployment Manager window opens.
Click the Utilities tab.
In the Dependencies section, click Load Types. The CRM types menu is loaded.
Select the CRM type for which you want to see dependencies.
Enter the GUID for the specific item you are searching for.
Click Check Dependency. The results are listed in the Output window.
