The Master Batch process cleanses and matches data based on the rules in the Trillium project that you will use when running Trillium Quality for Dynamics. You must configure Master Batch and set up the project.

To configure Master Batch

  1. Open a browser and navigate to http://host:port/TrilliumSOAP, where host:port is Tomcat’s host address and start port, 8484 by default. The TSI Web Server Administration login page opens.

  2. Enter your User ID (default is tadmin) and Password (default is trillium) and click Login. The Administration Home page opens.

  3. On the Administration Home page, click the MS Dynamics Master Batch Settings tab.

    Enter the following:

    • Max Records Per Window Key: Enter the maximum number of records allowed for each window key, between 1 and 10,000 (do not enter commas).

    • Single Window Key: Select the match type (Window Matching or Reference Matching) to perform if your data is matched using a single window key.

    • Max Records From Input File: Enter the maximum number of records to load from the input file, between 1 and 10,000,000 (do not enter commas).

    • Plug-ins Directory: Enter the location of the Trillium Quality for Dynamics \bin directory under MasterBatch\crm\msd.

    • Customer Directory: Enter the location of the Trillium Quality for Dynamics \config directory under MasterBatch\crm\msd.

    • Working Directory: Enter the location of the Trillium Quality for Dynamics \working directory under MasterBatch\crm\msd. The Working directory is where the master loader will write job process information and logs.

    • Encryption/Decryption Key: Enter the key that is being used to provide end-to-end encryption for data between Dynamics CRM and TSI.

    • Click Save Settings.

  4. Click Project Configuration and click Add New Project.

  5. In the Add Project window, enter a project name and the path to the unzipped project and click Save.

  6. Click Start to start the project.
