When a new record is entered, Trillium Quality for Dynamics will check your database to determine if the new record is potentially a duplicate of an existing record. If you would like a pop-up window to alert users when duplicate records are detected, add the Duplicates window to each form used to enter custom entity data. See Adding the Duplicates Window to Forms for information on adding the Duplicates window to forms.
Merging is not supported for custom entities. The Duplicates window will not display the Merge button when duplicate custom entity records are displayed.
