When testing a request using the Web Service Manager, if a test fails and the error message “Unable to connect to the remote server” displays, your Apache Tomcat web server may not be running. See Apache Tomcat Startup/Shutdown for information on starting Apache Tomcat.
Note: The error message may display the default IP address for
localhost (127.0.0.1) rather than your machine’s IP address,
which also indicates that your Apache Tomcat web server is not
running.
