When testing a request, if a test fails and the error message “Unable to connect to the remote server” displays, your Apache Tomcat web server may not be running. See Apache Tomcat Startup/Shutdown for information on starting Apache Tomcat.

Note that the error message may display the default IP address for localhost (127.0.0.1) rather than your machine’s IP address, which also indicates that your Apache Tomcat web server is not running.
