The Web Service Testing tab in the Web Service Manager allows you to send test SOAP requests to the TS Web Service. It builds a SOAP wrapper that conforms to the TS Web Service WSDL, and includes the fields defined on the Cleanser and Matcher Input/Output Fields tabs. You can enter test data, send the request to the web service, and review the response. You can then modify the request and retest.

The Web Service Testing tab identifies the Web Service Home URI. This option is not editable on this tab.

Note: The Tomcat server must be running.

You can save and reuse test requests with sample data, allowing you to run subsequent tests with consistent data. Saving test requests is described in Saving and Reusing Test Data.

You can use the SOAP request generated by the Web Service Manager as a template for the SOAP messages to be sent to the TS Web Service by your client application, as described in Using the Sample Request as a Template.
