The TS Web Services allows you to use industry-standard REST and SOAP requests to send data to TSS for cleansing (formatting and enhancing) and matching (identifying potential duplicates) using the Trillium Server Interface (TSI) architecture. TS Web Services with TSI does not use the Director/Cleanser/Matcher architecture.

Using TSI, cleansing and matching processing is performed entirely in memory, enhancing performance. TSI enables secure data transfer through use of security certificates on the Apache Tomcat web server. Optional user authentication provides additional security.

After setting up your project, as described in the following section, you can use the sample projects or the Web Service Manager to test your TS Web Services installation.

Note: The maximum number of records for a SOAP or REST request is 3500. If the request exceeds this limit, TSI processes the first 3500 and ignores the rest.
