TS Web Services employs security for Windows-to-Linux and Linux-to-Linux with SSH Secure Shell. For Windows-to-Windows security, TS Web Services defaults to the security model of Microsoft which is configured by your system administrators.

Default public and private keys are included in the installation and are placed in the following directories:

  • Windows Server

    C:\Program Files\Trillium Software\MBSW\17\tsq\default_keys

  • Client

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trillium Software\17\default_keys

These default SSH keys use a passphrase of trillium, and the public/private key-pair should be used for testing only.

Warning: The sample keys are for testing only. Precisely Trillium highly recommends that you generate your own keys and passphrases to ensure system security.

When security errors occur, the Web Service Manager displays an error message.
