Your Trillium Quality project is configured to use specific fields for a matching process. On the Matcher Input/Output Fields tab you identify which fields will be included in the test match request and response.
You can perform two types of matches:
Reference match, in which a new record is compared with existing records.
Window match, in which a set of records are compared with each other to identify potential duplicates.
Separate requests are used for reference matching and window matching, both of which are configured on this tab.
Using the options on the Matcher Input/Output Fields tab you:
Select fields to be included in the request, as described in Selecting Match Request Fields.
For window matching, select Window Match and select fields to be included in the response, as described in Selecting Match Response Fields, and test the request, as described in Testing Window Matching.
For reference matching, select Reference Match and test the request, as described in Testing Reference Matching. There is no need to select response fields.
