This section describes common errors that occur during data entry. Typically, the error message is displayed in a pop-up message window or as text in the status bar of the window.

Error: Invalid field name
Example: Invalid street name
Cause: Postal validation is unable to process the stated data element.
Solution: Correct the data or accept with known errors.
Error: TRILLIUM.CONNECTOR not registered /CPI-C
Cause: TS Client for SAP has not been initialized.
Solution: Start up the TS Client for SAP.
Error: Invalid combination of city, region and postal code
Example: Parameter “USPostalPath” is omitted in the parameter file.
Cause: Country-related parameters have not been specified or are commented out so the system is unable to do table lookup as required. Obsolete GAV tables may be installed or a bad combination of city region and postal code has been entered.
Solution: Check that the country required parameter file has been turned on (uncommented). Check that the GAV tables are up-to-date because the data may not be listed for matching. Check that the city and region are a good combination.
Error: Enter a postal code
Cause: There may be no communication between SAP and Trillium Software components or the GAV table may not have data to match against.
Solution: Ensure that the country control setting for Trillium Software is set for the required country.
Error: Data is truncated or misfield in SAP
Cause: The incorrect TrilliumSAPNW64 version has been initiated.
Solution: Stop the TrilliumSAPNW64 and initiate the correct TrilliumSAPNW64.
