The postal validation workflow contains the following processes:

  •    Initial Transformer

  •    Data Router

  •    Country-specific Transformer

  •    Country-specific Customer Data Parser

  •    Country-specific Sort for Postal Matcher

  •    Country-specific Postal Matcher

  •    Country-specific Transformer Data Reconstruction

  •    Country-specific Window Key Generator

When you create a project using the postal validation workflow, you specify the countries that are represented in the data you want to validate. (For example, your address data might be largely U.S. and Canadian.) A No Match (XX) branch is automatically included in the postal validation workflow to process addresses that are from countries other than the ones you selected when you created the process. For example, if you designed your project to validate U.S. and Canadian addresses, the XX branch handles data for every other country.
