Use the following guidelines when creating projects in the Control Center:
-
You must install and configure the Control Center before you can import the sample project or create a new project. The configuration includes creating a repository and data connection.
-
You must create three dynamic entities (input files) to create a project:
-
One for the postal validation workflow
-
Two for the duplicate check workflow
-
You can provide your own input files or use the samples provided with the country project templates. The sample data sets are located in \Program Files\Trillium Software\MBSW\17\tsq\Templates\xx_proj\sap_proj\data and their corresponding schema files are located in \Program Files\Trillium Software\MBSW\17\tsq\Templates\xx_proj\sap_proj\ddl:
xxinput.dat, using schema tranfrmr.ddx
transactioninput.dat, using schema globalrelinkin.ddx
masterinput.dat, using schema globalrelinkin.ddx
-
When you create the duplicate check workflow, you automatically get the Fuzzy search flow.
-
You can create the postal validation flow first, and the duplicate check flow at a later time.
-
If you are using the standard Trillium for SAP configuration, include the following fields in your data set.
Postal Validation and Cleansing |
Duplicate Check/Matching |
---|---|
Mrmrs Firstname Middlename Lastname Businessname Businessname2 Houseno, Streetaddress, Aptno Streetaddress1 Streetaddress2 Streetaddress3 Pobox Text Pobox Pobnonum City, State, Postalcode Country |

Figure 1. Create Quality Project Window -
Enter the Name and Description of the project to be created.
-
From the Type list, select Real Time (SAP).
-
If you want to add geocoder (latitude/longitude) information to your data (and have purchased the geocoder libraries from Trillium Software), check the Include Geocoding option.
The Input Entities window opens.
Figure 2. Input Entities Window -
Select the entities you want to use in the project. You must use dynamic entities.
-
Click Next.
The Add Country window opens.
Figure 3. Add Country Window -
In the Available Countries pane, select the countries represented in your data and click to include them in your project. (Click to include all the countries.)
-
If the Available Countries list includes the Basic Countries (zz) option and your data includes records from one or more of those countries, select the Include basic country processing option.
Note: If you select this option, when you click Next, a list of basic countries opens. Select the basic countries you want to include in the project. -
Click Next. The Configure Global Data Router window opens.
Figure 4. Global Data Router -
In the Global Data Router outputs section, select the output option you want to apply to this project.
-
Create output entity for each country. This is the default. When selected, the Global Data Router process creates an output entity for each country in the project except the basic countries that are using the ZZ template. (For those countries, the process creates a single workflow and output entity.)
-
Write identified country records to a single output entity. Select this option if you want the Global Data Router to create a single output file. The Router identifies the country associated with each record and adds that information in a new attribute, but it does not split the countries into separate files.
-
-
By default, the Global Data Router creates a no-match output entity for all records that do not match the selected countries. Clear the Create nomatch output check box if you do not want to create this entity.
-
Select the Create flow for nomatch output check box if, in addition to the Router output entity, you want to create a Quality workflow for unmatched countries. If you select this option, select a country to use for processing unmatched country records from the drop-down list.
Note: This option is not available if you opted to write all country records to a single output entity. -
If you want to create an entity group for each country flow, select Create Entity Group for Country Flows. This new entity group will be placed at the Global Data Router's output for each country.
-
By default, when you create an output entity for each country, you automatically create a workflow for each country that has a template. If you prefer, you can clear one or more check boxes in the Create process flows for countries.
Click Next. The Parser Inputs window opens.
Figure 5. Parser Input Window-
From the Input Attributes list, select the attributes that you want to use as parser inputs. (See Table: Input Fields for a list of input attributes.) TheFigure: Parser Input Window shows the recommended order of parser lines for a U.S. project.
-
In the Global Router country code attribute field, select Country.
Click Next.
The Summary window opens.
