To override the new values created by the postal validation process, you must have activated the Override Cleansed data (OvrClean) function during the configuration process. This option is available on if the address is successfully checked. See OvrClean for more information about this function.
Records saved with known errors are flagged in an allocated field (for example, EXTENSION1) to indicate that they have been accepted with known errors and will not be processed again by the batch processes (Quarterly Adjustment or Index Initialization processes). You can remove this flag if you want to have the records processed at a later date.
The override new values process allows you to accept data that does not comply with certified postal services rules.
