In an SAP transaction that includes address data, there is typically a field for each of the address elements, as illustrated in the figure below.
Different address elements are expected to be entered on particular lines, which allows the TS Connector to process efficiently. However, the Line1 to Line10 fields in the Customer Data Parser settings file must be pre-defined for the Connector.
When you click to begin the process, the SAP Business Address Service (SAP BAS) is called. The service invokes the Trillium Software for SAP Add-On, Address Management with Trillium. Data is then prepared and sent to Trillium Quality for postal validation and duplicate checking and for error tolerate search processing.
After the data has been validated and enriched, it is returned with Trillium Quality messages to the SAP client. Users can view the enriched data against the original value by activating the Diff. Popup function in the Address Management with Trillium IMG.
If the Diff. Popup function has been activated, it opens a window that shows the differences between the original values and the new values for all fields, as shown in the figure below.
You can also choose to view only the fields that have been changed from this screen by clicking the button at the bottom of the screen the figure below illustrates the changes-only option.
To continue with the process:
-
Click to accept the new value. Proceed to the section Accepting New Values.
-
