When performing the configuration for “Activate Duplicate Check Index Pools”, note that as part of the data model simplification in SAPS/4HANA, ERP customers and ERP vendors are no longer maintained directly. Instead, ERP customers and ERP vendors are first maintained as business partners and then replicated to the ERP customer and ERP vendor tables via Customer Vendor Integration (CVI). Due to this SAP change, you should no longer activate the logical search pool KNA1 ADRNR for ERP customers and ERP vendors. Duplicate checking for ERP customers and ERP vendors is now handled as part of the business partner duplicate check using logical search pools BUT000 PARTNER (for organizations and individuals) and BUT052 ADDRNUMBER (for contact persons).
