The TS Client for SAP requires a user name and password to retrieve the dynamic structures used during postal validation and duplicate check. This user is referred to as an RFC Service User for the TS Client for SAP. The user requires the following minimum authorizations:
Authorization Object: S_RFC
ACTVT: 16
RFC_NAME: RFC1, RFCH, SYST
RFC_TYPE: FUGR
These authorizations allow the TS Client for SAP to call the following function modules as part of its initialization process:
RFCPING
RFC_GET_STRUCTURE_DEFINITION
RFC_GET_UNICODE_STRUCTURE
The RFC Service User is defined in TrilSAP.cfg, the configuration file for the TS Client for SAP. See Trillium Quality Projects for more information about this configuration file.
In addition to the RFC Service User requirement, you should also have the following users:
A Trillium application administrator who is responsible for stopping and starting the Trillium Quality services. This should be the user who was responsible for installing the Trillium Quality services.
An SAP Basis Administrator who has access to SAP-ALL. This user is responsible for:
-
Installing the Trillium SAP Add-On (see the Trillium DQ Installation Guide).
-
Activating the Trillium SAP BC-Set (see Activating the Business Configuration Set).
-
Creating the RFC destination in SAP (see Configuring the RFC Destination).
-
A Business Analyst who has ownership of Trillium for SAP and is authorized to maintain the configuration in the IMG. This analyst should also have access to the following SAP transactions:
-
SMGW – Gateway monitor to view the logged-on client connections.
-
SM59 – RFC Destination for TRILLIUM_CONNECTOR to test for connection between SAP and TS Client for SAP.
