When you perform a match, results are categorized as matching at Level 1 or Level 2, the meaning of which differs depending on whether you perform a Consumer or Business match:

  • For consumer matches, Level 1 is a household match and Level 2 is an individual match.

  • For business matches, Level 1 is a company match and Level 2 is a contact match.

Results are also identified as being Matched (meaning they passed the match criteria) or Suspect matches.

By default, results are displayed with Level 1 Matched records grouped together, identified with blue highlighting, as shown in Figure:Figure 1. To change the match results view, select an option in Group View Selection and click Apply. The columns are rearranged to keep the LEV1_MATCHED column (with groups now identified in green) on the left, with the LEV2_MATCHED rows displayed in blue.

Click Default to again group by Level 1 Matched records.
