The Director server provides load balancing across similar cleanser or matcher servers. By default, when the Director receives a request for a connection from a client application it returns to the client a handle for the server with the least amount of current activity (Current Load). Alternatively, you can elect to rotate requests among servers (Round Robin). See Load Balancing for information on setting the load balancing option.
