You can use the Web Service Testing tab to create a cleanse request, using the request and response fields selected on the Cleanser Input/Output Fields tab.

To test your current request configuration:

  1. Using the Cleanser Input/Output Fields tab, select the input and output fields for your cleanse request, as described in Configuring Test Requests (TSI).

  2. Click the Web Service Testing tab and select the Cleanser tab.

  3. Click Create Request. The Input Cleanser Data window opens.

  4. Enter data values to be used in the test request.

  5. Click Done. The Web Service Manager processes the request and displays the SOAP request and response.

    Note: If a web key has been defined for the project but you did not enter a web key on the Server Configuration page, an ‘Invalid Key’ message is returned in the SOAP response and the data is not cleansed.
  6. To view the results as name/value pairs, click View Results. The Cleansing Results window opens. Click OK to close the results window.

  7. Optionally, change the test data, either by clicking Edit Request or by manually editing the request, and retest, as described in Saving and Reusing Test Data.
